Kiln-dried oak boards are stocked in the dimensions listed below. These are not produced on site.

GRADE

All of our boards are character grade. This means they will contain knots and other imperfections. These might include burring, cracks, shake, sapwood, colour variation and grain variation. All natural features of oak.

CUTTING

Boards are sold by the length - you have to buy the whole piece. However, we can cut to size (length and width) if required. Notice is required for the cutting service and it will incur a charge.

PLANING

We can plane boards up to a maximum width of 200 mm. Our 220 and 300 mm wide boards cannot be planed. Once planed, the finished thickness of a 27 mm board would be approximately 20 mm. Notice is required for the planing service and it will incur a charge.
